Pittsburgh native Rachel Vallozzi is a professional wardrobe stylist, personal shopper/stylist, and costume shopper. Her services include closet clean-ups, performance costuming, and shopping & styling for professional, casual, and special events.

Rachel is an active, ever-evolving artist whose projects have covered the spectrum of fashion, acting, modeling, and performance. Check out her blog to keep up to date on Rachel’s latest creations, discoveries, and projects.

Film Stylist

Rachel first took an interest in film in 1999, working on “Wonder Boys” in Pittsburgh, and continuing her credits in Los Angeles on “Legally Blonde” and “Rat Race”. Rachel recently designed character looks for Sabrina Bryan, Steve Gutenburg, Richard Kind, and Rondell Sheridan for the Pittsburgh film, “If It Ain’t Broke, Break It.” She has also worked under Academy Award Winning costume designers Salvador Perez and Penny Rose.

Pittsburgh Proprietress

Co-owned with Dana Bannon, Rachel’s latest business venture is Pageboy Salon & Boutique.Here Rachel continues to hand pick all of the vintage clothes and accessories offered as well as designing for Buttercup Blues Upcycled, her re-designed, modernized vintage collection.

From 2002 to 2006, Rachel brought her style back to Pittsburgh as proprietress of Kharisma Vintage Fashions. Kharisma’s shopping parties, live window models, and participation in local events made a fun & rockin’ contribution to Pittsburgh culture. Rachel has since continued her involvement in the local artist community with LUXX in the South Side, Retro On 8th in Homestead, and Wild Card in Lawrenceville.

Other Fashion Experience

In 2008, she taught costume design to children in Amman Jordan as part of a Zany Umbrella Circus outreach program.

Rachel is a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 489, S.A.G., and A.F.T.R.A. She has modeled and acted extensively for both creative and commercial projects, the most recent of which include modeling for local photographers and modcloth.com and acting in films like “Riddle” and “RECALL.”

Present Pursuits

Rachel has recently refocused her energy to personal styling, using her skills to help clueless dressers all over the area achieve peace with fashion. She has amazing closet organization and shopping skills, from hole-in-the wall thrift stores and local boutiques to malls and stand-alone corporate stores. She loves finding the perfect looks for her clients no matter what the occasion.

Rachel loves to start her mornings with a good espresso, and on her days off, enjoys picking wildflowers and doing outdoor yoga in the sunshine.
