Autumn’s Antics hand crafts fun & colorful costume jewelry & pinback buttons. A lot of the work includes repurposed or upcycled vintage pieces that would have otherwise been discarded. Other pieces are simply offbeat!

From the Artist:

I am interested in the interaction of the formal elements and principles of design such as balance, color, pattern, depth and texture.  I don’t often rely on obscure references to prove a point or engage in heavy conceptual work.  Most of the time I just want others to find enjoyment in what I do and strive to instill a sense of gentle curiosity rather than try and inspire fear or guilt in my viewers.

Most of my current work is based on natural forms or “found” objects.  I am fascinated by the beauty of everyday items and try to recapture that essence in my art.  Much of my jewelry art exists to breathe new life into broken or otherwise unwanted vintage pieces.
