Emilie Bosworth-Clemens was born and raised in rural Vermont. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a BFA in painting. She is a member of the local 489 Studio Mechanics Union and works on movies which film in the Pittsburgh area.
Emilie works out of her Pittsburgh studio, driven by the need to occupy her hands and harness excess energy, creating original garments with historically inspired details, earrings, drawings, paintings and tattoos. Her biggest inspirations are history and period clothing, plants and animals.
Nightingale’s earrings, made from feathers and real bone “hare pipe”, are available at Pageboy.
